As a Front of House Manager, you will be the vibrant heartbeat of our establishment, ensuring that every guest experiences exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. You will lead a dynamic team, manage daily operations, and create an inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food service management while fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.
What you'll do
Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Organize weekly Front of House staff schedule.
Lead and mentor staff through training and development initiatives to enhance their skills and performance.
Handle cash management processes with precision, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
Collaborate with kitchen & bar management to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Conduct regular pre-shift meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and celebrate successes.
Implement food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations and standards.
Create a welcoming environment by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong background in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Clover POS, Aloha POS, or Micros POS is essential.
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift supervision.
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting.
Ability to train staff effectively in hospitality standards, food safety practices, and service excellence.
Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred.
