We are seeking a friendly and proactive Front End Sales Clerk to join our retail team. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for checkout transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain proper merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and adheres to store policies on phone etiquette and safety protocols Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and teamwork

Experience

Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in similar retail environments Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are essential Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations will be beneficial for success in this role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 35 per week
