Multi-faceted responsibilities to keep our busy clinic running smoothly. We are looking for a reliable professional who has strong attention to detail, is able to multitask in a busy environment, takes pride in their position, and works well within a team. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, keeping the clinic operating smoothly, and ensuring that all duties are completed each shift. This position is part time, offering ~25-30 hrs/week. Weekend availability required. Employee benefits include free Acupuncture, Massage, and Sauna treatments. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong time management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to self-manage to multitask and prioritize duties throughout the shift. Duties include, but are not limited to: Front Desk:
Maintain orderly front desk area that is organized, clean, and streamlined
Deliver exceptional customer service during all interactions with customers
Help customers to book, reschedule, and pay for appointments; which includes the handling of credit card information, exchange of cash or checks, and selling of products
Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
Send requested itemized invoices to patients following correct insurance policies for diagnosis codes or ICD codes
Effectively communicate with practitioners as needed during the course of the day
Reset acupuncture table linens
Keeping waiting room clean and inviting throughout shift
Other duties as assigned
Preferred skills:
Previous office experience preferred
Previous clinical experience preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or Massage Therapy a plus
Strong problem solving skills
A calm demeanor, able to conduct themselves professionally in a busy environment
