We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and organized
Front Desk Receptionist
to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a key part in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional office environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
This is a
part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time
as the practice continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
Answer incoming calls, route messages appropriately, and respond to general inquiries
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Maintain an organized and tidy front desk and waiting area
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, filing, and record maintenance
Collect and verify basic patient information as needed
Utilize office systems for scheduling, billing support, and patient management
Assist with general office duties to support daily operations
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or in customer service is preferred
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
We are currently implementing Prompt EMR; prior experience with Prompt EMR is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
