Overview


Ikigai Wellness is an integrative wellness clinic in Tigard OR seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires proficiency in various clinic management tasks, including handling patient and insurance phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining clinic organization.

Our clinic is woman-owned and family-run. We offer support to people with chronic pain and chronic illnesses through various offerings: acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Responsibilities



Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Manage incoming and outgoing calls & faxes, ensuring effective communication with patients and insurance companies. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records. Maintain office supplies, retail and clinic supply inventory. Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Coordinate between various providers and work with the team to ensure appropriate management of patient care. Use Google Workspace applications for document creation and management. Ensure a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment. Assist with any tasks that ensure smooth operations within the clinic.

Qualifications



Proven experience in medical or wellness front desk or receptionist roles is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills. Competent with EHR, scheduling tools, POS systems, and basic software or proficient computer skills with quick learning abilities. Demonstrated ability in customer service with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for wellness and high quality service.

Schedule



Part-time position: Must be available for 10-16 hours of the week Must be available for 1-2 week day + Saturday shifts (we are open from 8am-1pm) Possibility of becoming a full time position in the future, if desired.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
