Dogtopia of South Elgin, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services is growing and has an

immediate opening

for an energetic, organized and sales-minded individual to join our team as our Front Desk Receptionist. This is a key role within our business to grow the number of dogs in daycare, boarding, grooming/spa and training and explain the benefits of our services to our beloved pet parents!

Sales Initiatives

Sell memberships to pet parents Convert lead calls to Meet & Greets Schedule Tours/Meet & Greets Conduct follow-up calls/emails with leads Actively manage our point-of-sale system Manage the Front Desk - phone, email, app requests, paperwork/records update, handle payments, check in/out of dogs Fully understand the dog daycare, boarding, and spa model

Requirements

Excellent communication and negotiation skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Positive personality that loves to work in a team environment Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
This position is offered at $16 per hour with salary growth based on performance and time in the position.

Work schedule is full-time with a schedule of Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday to Friday is 9 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday is 9:50 am to 5:00 pm.
