Role Summary




The Front Desk/Reception team member is the community's first point of contact, offering a warm welcome and dependable support to residents, visitors, and staff. This role manages calls, visitor check-ins, emergency systems, deliveries, and light administrative tasks. Each day is different, requiring team members to collaborate effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and approach each day with flexibility and a positive attitude. Team members maintain a professional appearance and uphold our values of Quality, Faith-Based Service, Integrity, Stewardship, and Healthy Living.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities



Answer and direct calls using a multi-line switchboard with professional, friendly communication. Operate the two-way radio system and manage gate access. Monitor emergency call and fire alarm systems; contact 911 or internal teams when needed. Maintain phone lists, birthday lists, and stat check updates. Accept, log, and distribute deliveries. Manage guest room reservations, check-ins, and coordination with Housekeeping. Greet and assist residents, visitors, and potential employees; manage sign-ins and verify resident approval. Assist residents with copies, faxes, and work orders. Sort and distribute mail; perform light administrative tasks. Maintain confidentiality and provide scheduling flexibility, including holiday coverage. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications



2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. Professional appearance, clear communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Experience with multi-line phones, radio paging, and emergency call systems. Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds; process and move up to 120 packages per day. Fluent English language skills. Flexibility and teamwork, with a commitment to our values of integrity, faith-based service, quality, healthy living and stewardship. Must be able to walk throughout the entire facility.
