ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTION The primary function of Reception is to aid in the customer experience by greeting guests in a timely and welcoming manner.

  • Responsible for greeting guests upon arrival and performing initial check-in

  • Answers incoming phone calls

  • Is knowledgeable about all products and specials and can answer questions involving all aspects of the store

  • Assists Manager, and Budtenders with various tasks upon request which may include product labeling, display upkeep, and projects in word or excel

  • Responsible for checking company email, and the Memo Board for new staff updates

  • Updates printouts which may include running specials

  • Responsible for the daily upkeep of the office, waiting room, bud room and bathroom

  • Must be proficient in xcel, word, and knowledge of Flowhub is a plus


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of health and safety protocol for oneself and others.

  • Using security systems as instructed.

  • Identifying potential risks within the GMC environment and undertaking to minimize such risks.

  • Understanding and utilizing appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining hygiene in work areas and keeping the premises free from hazards.
  • Immediate reporting of potential risks as identified.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND DIVERSITY

  • In the undertaking of the duties outlined above the Receptionist may have access to sensitive information relating to guests and staff. This must be kept strictly confidential at all times.

  • Ensure policies and procedures relating the protection of personal and sensitive data must be adhered to at all times and only divulged to authorize persons.

  • Support the equality, diversity and rights of patients in a manner that is consistent with GMC policies.
  • The Manager should behave in a manner which is welcoming, non-judgmental and respectful of the circumstances and rights of all visitors.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Participate in any training program deemed appropriate by the Ownership.

  • An annual individual performance review, to include a record of own personal and professional development and discussing targets for the future.
  • Taking responsibility for own development, learning and performance and demonstrating skills to other members of staff when required.

MAINTAINING QUALITY

  • Effectively prioritize own time and workload

  • Alert colleagues to issues of quality and risk

  • Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions

  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by making suggestions for areas of improvement

  • Work constructively with individuals in other organizations to meet patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs
  • Communicate problems effectively with other team members and work together towards a solution
