Spring Creek Kennel & Cattery, a family-owned dog and cat boarding facility in Spring Valley, CA, is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Front Desk Lead/Receptionist. Position Summary

As the Front Desk Lead/Receptionist, you'll be responsible for managing front desk operations while ensuring the highest level of care for our pets. You will also perform kennel attendant duties and lead the team in providing excellent customer service.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL HOLIDAYS and ALL WEEKENDS, including SATURDAYs AND SUNDAYs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and assist with kennel attendant duties such as cleaning, feeding, medicating, and exercising pets. Ensure all pets are cared for and in good health. Greet clients, check-in pets, and ensure all paperwork is complete and up-to-date. Answer phones, make reservations, and handle client inquiries. Administer medications and grooming services as needed. Process payments and schedule future reservations. Provide professional tours of the facility to potential clients. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.

Required Qualifications

Experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. Must be able to swim (pool available on-site at one location). Comfortable handling large or difficult pets. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation and phone contact. Must be able to work in an environment with animal dander and hair. Our facility is drug- and alcohol-free, and all employees are subject to testing.
