The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to members, families, and staff. This role involves greeting visitors, managing phone calls, and ensuring that the front desk area is organized and welcoming. The Front Desk Coordinator will play a key role in creating a positive experience for all who interact with the Boys and Girls Club.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and welcome members, families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information about club programs, events, and services.
Address and resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
Administrative Duties:
Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
Manage and maintain front desk records, including sign-in sheets and membership forms.
Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings as needed.
Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records of member information.
Communicate regularly with the administration office in regard to the CACFP and CCAP programs
Operational Support:
Monitor the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials.
Assist with the check-in and check-out process for members and guests.
Handle cash and process payments for membership fees, program registrations, and other transactions.
Communication:
Disseminate information about upcoming events, programs, and activities to members and staff.
Communicate effectively with club staff to relay important information and updates.
Safety and Security:
Ensure that all visitors sign in and out of the facility.
Monitor the entry and exit of individuals to maintain a secure environment.
Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or additional training in office administration is preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., phone systems, computers) and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
A friendly and professional demeanor, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of materials or supplies weighing up to 20 pounds

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
