Job Description

Responsibilities:



Provide materials and information to guests pertaining to Ecola Creek Lodge, Cannon Beach Conference Center, and Cannon Beach. Making, processing and maintaining reservations by working through our Property Management System, ECL Website, and Online Travel Agencies extranet. Perform various financial transactions in person and by telephone and E-mail. Balance cash drawer daily. Following opening and closing procedures. Prepare for and check guests in and out and keep guest's information confidential. Meet the needs of guests or staff requiring assistance at the front desk. Answer telephone calls, correspondence as necessary, and review and respond to emails in a timely manner. Communicate and pass on information to other staff as well as Front Desk Supervisor/General Manager.

Secondary Responsibilities:



Keep Front Desk and Lobby area tidy and stocked for guests. Perform miscellaneous office duties and projects such as reports, counting cash, sending/receiving faxes and photocopying. Assist in the laundry room as needed and assigned. All other duties as assigned.

Skills:



Experience in hospitality industry is preferred. Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal relating, and phone conversing. Strong attention to detail and organization while managing multiple priorities. Able to work a flexible schedule and work with varying degrees of supervision. PC and typing skills with the ability to learn the Property Management System in a timely manner. Able to navigate Google Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

Pay: $16.75 per hour
