Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Front Desk Associate at Quality Inn and Suites in Loves Park, IL. Some of the job responsibilities include checking in guests, helping guests with any needs after check in, laundry, cleaning lobby and breakfast area, taking out trash, and keeping common areas clean. This job involves a lot of day to day interactions with guests, meaning good customer service skills will be necessary. We use a computer software to handle all aspects of the check in and check out process, so a basic understanding of computers would be helpful. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions Maintain accurate records of guest information and room availability Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels Uphold the hotel's policies and procedures to ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Computer literacy and proficiency in using hotel management software Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and requests Communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
