ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Always practice urgency with the patient's time, as well as the doctor's time and schedule
Always respect the patient's time and the doctor's schedule.
Answer phones (both external and internal); ensure prompt, courteous service always
Check out patients and collect correct payments
Complete daily reconciliations / close day/countdown cash drawer
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA
Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
Double-check insurance authorizations to ensure completion and build accurate flow sheets
General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by the manager
Knowledge of standard fees charged for typical visits
Create daily patient paperwork packets.
Preparing patient charts for the technician.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Reliable transportation that enables employees to arrive at work on time.
Desire to acquire industry knowledge and training.

Able to interact courteously and professionally with all levels of employees consistently.
Must be at least 18 years old.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) months of medical office experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Basic computer skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be able to go from a sitting position to a standing position at any time throughout the eight-hour working day.
