As a Front Desk Agent at Fairfield Inn by Marriott, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience. You will be responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for throughout their stay.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
Answer phones and respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and general information.
Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and ensure prompt resolution or escalation to management when necessary.
Process payments accurately, including cash, credit card, and direct billing transactions.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
Uphold Marriott brand standards and company policies at all times.
Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills; prior experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
