Front Desk Agent

to join our hotel team! The Overnight Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests at our hotel. As a Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This position requires a minimum of 6 months experience in a Front Desk or Night Audit role using Opera, full service preferred.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Greeting guests as they arrive at the hotel Checking guests in and out of the hotel Answering phone calls and responding to emails Assisting guests with any questions or concerns they may have Maintaining accurate records of guest information and room assignments Handling cash and credit card transactions Providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions Ensuring that the front desk area is clean and organized Overnight Shift 11pm-7am



The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills:

MINIMUM of 6 months Full-Service Hotel Front Desk experience using Opera Property Management System (PMS)

Must have flexibility to work overnight including weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and holidays

Must maintain a valid Driver's License

Arrive on time, well-groomed and prepared to serve as the face of the hotel, reflecting its standards of hospitality Maintain a calm, confident, and welcoming demeanor in all guest interactions, even under pressure Anticipate and meet the needs of all travelers, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for Provide personalized assistance with tact and discretion, creating a seamless experience for guests from check-in to departure Handle challenges gracefully, offering solutions that uphold the hotel's standards of service and professionalism Listen attentively, convey information clearly, and respond with courtesy to create a seamless guest experience Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments to coordinate guest services, resolve issues promptly, and maintain smooth hotel operations Demonstrate strong verbal skills when interacting with guests and staff, and produces accurate, professional written communication such as emails and guest documentation Ability to manage multiple tasks by prioritizing effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and money handling skills
