We're looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team as a part-time

Front Desk Agent/ Breakfast Attendant

. This position is for

4 shifts per week

:

Monday to Wednesday:

6:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Thursday:

6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Additional shifts may be available to cover vacations, but this is not guaranteed or on a regular basis.

About the Role:

Providing excellent customer service is our top priority. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with guests, helping them feel welcome, and ensuring they have a great experience. Responsibilities include:

Handling hotel and restaurant reservations Answering phones and guest questions Managing retail sales at the front desk Using our reservation and communication systems (text and email) Multitasking between phone calls and in-person interactions


This position also includes setting up, restocking, and cleaning up our

continental breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM)

. All breakfast items are pre-prepared--no cooking required.

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Available to work occasional weekends and holidays

We offer a sign-on bonus for new team members, paid out in stages based on attendance and time in the role:

$200 after 30 days An additional $300 after 90 days An additional $500 after 180 days

The Norwich Inn is a historic 39-room inn with a full-service restaurant, pub, and on-site microbrewery, located in the heart of a classic New England village in east-central Vermont. Just one mile from Dartmouth College and across the river from Hanover, New Hampshire, the Inn enjoys a steady stream of guests thanks to its close ties to the College, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, King Arthur Baking Company, and year-round tourism.


Owned by Joe and Jill Lavin since 2006, the property was expanded from 27 to 39 rooms in 2010 and has seen significant upgrades, continuing to grow its iconic reputation in the Upper Valley. Joe also serves as Managing Director of La Tourelle Hotel and Spa in Ithaca, NY.


Our restaurant and pub serve a loyal local following and visiting guests alike, with seating for up to 124 including seasonal outdoor dining. We also host a variety of private events and meetings in our function spaces, making The Norwich Inn a lively and welcoming destination for travelers and locals year-round.
