Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in experience
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction
Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, resolving issues efficiently to ensure a memorable stay
Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with guests and team members across multi-line phone systems
Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and uphold hotel standards
Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns proactively and following up to guarantee satisfaction
Uphold security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring the safety of guests and staff during all shifts
Support front desk operations during busy periods or staff shortages to maintain smooth service flow
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred
Demonstrated excellence in customer service with strong communication skills in multiple languages is a significant advantage; bilingual abilities are highly valued
Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, guest services best practices, and phone etiquette ensures professional interactions at all times
