Job Description

oWelcomes customers and guests.
oAnswers phone calls.
oReads and responds to company emails.
oAssists customers in making reservations.
oMaintains schedules and reservation records.
oProcesses visitor check-in and checkout information at hotels.
oAssigns rooms and suites to guests.
oDraws up and reviews customer billing statements.
oProcesses customer and guest payments.
oKeeps work space clean and orderly.
oSends and receives faxes.
oFiles guest records.
oPerforms other miscellaneous clerical duties as necessary.
oResolves customer issues and complaints.
oTransfers calls to relevant staff or departments.
oRefers customers and guests to management when necessary.
oProvides directions to local restaurants, museums, and other attractions to hotel guests visiting from out of town.
oDescribes details of services and amenities to visitors.

oResponds politely to difficult or angry customers.
oIs capable of multitasking on an ongoing basis.
oDemonstrates familiarity with basic Microsoft computer programs.
oPossesses excellent phone etiquette.
oHas ability to remember names and faces in order to make guests feel particularly welcome.
oIs familiar with the specific details of the company's mission and goals.

Education and Experience


oHigh school diploma of GED preferred.
oExperience in customer service field preferred.
oBrief customer service training required prior to start date.

Work Environment



oTime will be spent at a front desk
oTypical workdays are 8 hours, but shifts may vary from night to day.
oThe majority of working hours will be spent interacting with guests and other staff.
oAdditional time will be spent in an employee office setting.
oLight physical activity such as walking and minor lifting is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
