Pink Shell Resort are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Understands and has thorough knowledge of PMS system

Checks guests in and out of the hotel

Assist guest with special accommodations

Ensures room holds are kept

Communicates with other departments in regards to room needs and/or maintenance issues

Delivers messages and packages to guest rooms

Assist guest with faxing documents if needed

Ensures all charges are properly posted

Receives cash and credit cards from guests for payment

Knows all room rates

Provides direction of hotel facilities, rooms and local area attractions to guests

Creates day packets for guests

Reviews over AM and PM end of shift reports

Answers phones as needed for guest inquires

Issues parking passes to guests

Performs all other duties as assigned

Skills

Strong background in hospitality management or related fields such as resort or hotel operations. Proficiency in handling phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Ability to perform night audit duties effectively when required. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
