We are seeking a professional and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple guest needs efficiently. Prior hotel or resort experience is preferred, along with proficiency in hospitality management and guest relations.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in hotel management systems
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest safety and security
Assist with night audit duties as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
Support guest services initiatives to enhance overall guest experience
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Excellent phone etiquette and ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel management is a plus
Knowledge of resort amenities, guest relations, and hospitality industry standards
