We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a background in the food industry, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for managing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit card transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, including dining spaces and checkout counters. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Promote cafe products and specials to enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
