Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Counter Customer Service Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers at the front counter, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food preparation, POS systems, or retail is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with placing orders at the front counter using POS system. Prepare and serve food items efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for sales and change. Upsell menu items or products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Manage food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties. Ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality customer interactions. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary. Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently. Experience with food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry or cafe setting. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service & fast food restaurants or grocery stores. Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory. Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service excellence.
