Job Summary
To serve New Life Church by providing leadership and oversight of all Birth to 2 year old classrooms promoting a clean, safe and fun environment where children can discover, experience, and follow Jesus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead volunteer team in ministry objectives for all services for children ages Birth to Two years of age
Lead/assist the Early Childhood Coordinator in implementation of teacher training for classrooms
Coordinate with Birth-2 Hall Monitors to ensure cleanliness and order of rooms
Refer pastoral needs for parents, children, and volunteers to the Early Childhood Coordinator
Partner/Develop/Implement with NLFN Kids leadership to attract, train, and mobilize volunteers
Partner/Develop/Implement with NLFN Kids leadership to support parents in the spiritual formation of their children
Build weekly classroom team schedules for New Life Friday Night services
Communicate with Nursery team weekly for schedule and any additional announcements for Nursery or the New Life Kids team
Attend all meetings required by NLFN Kids leadership staff
Partner with NLK leadership team to develop/plan/execute all New Life Kids Events
Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment of unity among our staff and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of New Life Church
Assist the NLFN Kids leadership staff by performing any other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Education: High school diploma
Experience: Some classroom and early childhood training
Working Conditions and Requirements of Office Environment
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
