Overview

Source Techworks field service technicians enjoy various work opportunities to support mission-critical, cutting-edge systems for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their recognizable end-users across the Enterprise IT, Medical Technology, and Industrial Automation industries. Many of our clients have recurring needs for installation deployment, preventive maintenance, and break/fix repair events, which require field technician availability on a

temporary/as-needed, but consistent basis throughout the year! [THIS IS NOT A WORK FROM HOME OPPORTUNITY; however, work assignments will take place in the candidate's local area.]

THIS IS A FREELANCE OPPORTUNITY.

This project will include paid training to support our customer's specific product type.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with electronics, electromechanical systems, and IT

Experience in diagnostics for software & system failure, as well as mechanical & hardware failure

Experience in a Laboratory environment

Basic Laboratory & Chemistry knowledge

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

Organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Effective customer service skills - including a positive attitude and helpful customer interaction skills

Physical Requirements

Must complete and pass a background check

Must successfully complete vendor credentialing and/or site access requirements, which may include photo identification and certain vaccination records

Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing equipment support

Willingness to travel up to 60 miles one-way per assignment

Ability to work in confined areas for extended periods of time

Willingness to work with others - including communication through email, phone, and/or SMS text messages

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
