Position Summary





We are searching for motivated

Frame

Processor

that will be part of our manufacturing plant team.


As a dedicated team and AM family member, our Frame Processors are

vital to the success

of our business and operations. In your role with Associated Materials, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect.

What To Expect




Verify frame type and job traveler information Check labels to assure proper process for each different type of unit Gather required materials from staging or rack Inspect extrusions for scratches, dents, or incorrect color/profile Apply sealant or gasket as specified Assemble frame corners and join using press/stapler Confirm squareness and alignment Clean frame surfaces and remove excess sealant Attach labels or tags as required Place completed frame in rack or send to next workstation (Sash/Glazing) Confirm all four corners are tight and square (1/16" tolerance) Ensure sealant is continuous and uniform Verify frame matches correct window style and dimensions Check that all hardware or clips are properly installed Inspect for surface defects (scratches, dents, contamination) Validate barcode or label matches production order

Required Education, Skills & Experience




High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required. If you've got the drive to learn, we'll train you! Proficiency in spoken and written English sufficient to Read and understand safety procedures, hazard warnings, and equipment operating instructions. + Accurately complete production records, quality checklists, and incident reports in English.
+ Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
+ Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and motivated to become well-versed within multiple areas of operations.
Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations. Understand how to collaborate with a variety of different people and roles. Committed to cross-train, learn, and develop your skillset further. One who values diversity and takes pride in building a team together.

Physical Requirements




Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Able to lift-up to 50 lbs. at any given time.
