Overview



29 Pixel Studios is seeking a

Multimedia Public Affairs Specialist

to support the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC) (Soon to be Combined Arms Command) at Fort Leavenworth, KS. This role leverages multimedia tools to

inform, engage, and educate

both internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate is a

creative storyteller

with expertise in

social media, photography, videography, and graphic design

who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. We are looking for a

motivated self-starter

with a strong work ethic, energy, and passion for multimedia communications.

Job Functions and Responsibilities



Write

news articles, captions, and cutlines

in

AP Style

. Manage CAC social media accounts, including

X (Twitter), Flickr, Facebook, and YouTube

. Capture

photography and videography

of assigned events. Deliver final products quickly to meet

tight public affairs deadlines

. Provide coverage on

federal holidays

when required (e.g., limited hours on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day). Edit, render, and manage

creative content

for social media distribution. Plan, design, and produce

printed information products

, such as stories, photos, brochures, flyers, handouts, programs, and infographics. Develop

information graphics

for use in publications or as stand-alone products.

Required Skills and Experience



Ability to manage

multiple projects and competing deadlines

. Knowledge of

social media trends, strategies, platforms, and tools

, with a willingness to adopt emerging technologies. Balance of

creative thinking and tactical execution

. Excellent

written, verbal, and digital communication skills

, plus strong listening and feedback abilities. Highly

image and video editing, formatting, and enhancement techniques

Adobe Creative Cloud

: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Audition. Must be able to understand strategic communication guidelines and messaging that align with both CAC and higher echelon communication objectives

Preferred Qualifications



Familiarity with the

U.S. Army

or other military organizations. Bachelor's degree in

communications, photography, film, journalism

, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Additional proficiency with

Adobe Illustrator

and

Adobe After Effects

.

Ability to thrive in a

10 times per performance period

Centers of Excellence

under the CAC umbrella.

Period of Performance



Standard hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Approximately

12 times per year

, coverage will be required

outside normal hours

, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or federal holidays. This is a

full-time position with 29 Pixel Studios

and part of a

multi-year contract

Security Requirements



Successful completion of a

background investigation

is required. A

favorable background determination

Ability to Commute/Relocate
