Forklift Operator/material Handler

Job Description
We are looking for a proficient Material Handler and Forklift Operator to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will handle the operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer training to familiarize you with our proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse. Load and unload products from trailers or containers. Conduct daily equipment checks and perform basic maintenance. Ensure adherence to company policies and OSHA standards. Help maintain a clean and safe work environment. Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.
Skills:
Proficiency in order picking and material handling. Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Capability to lift heavy objects and carry out physical tasks. Knowledge of OSHA regulations for safe forklift operation. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with warehouse supervisors.
