Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping, receiving, materials handling and inventory controll. The ideal candidate will have experience operating stand up and sit down forklifts and inventory controll,, along with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Pick and prepare orders foefollowing our management systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments and organizing inventory. Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement within the warehouse. Conduct routine inspections of equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and report any maintenance needs. Assist with materials handling tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory in designated storage areas. Support warehouse management in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related logistics roles. Valid forklift certification; Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. . Experience in shipping & receiving processes and materials handling techniques. Construction or industrial background is a plus; previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
