Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Forklift Operator

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in forklift operation, warehouse distribution, and materials handling, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functioning. Support the implementation of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.

Qualifications

Safety and quality focused. Must be dependable. Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required. Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling. A minimum of 1 year or prior forklift experience required. Familiarity with forklifts is essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
