Forklift Operator Overview:

Forklift Operator Pay Range:

$26-$30/hour Paid

WEEKLY

Forklift Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates forklifts to move materials, and load/unload trucks. Drives a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack or move equipment deemed necessary by the Foreman. Must be able to pass certification required to operate equipment. Adheres to company safety and OSHA regulations. Assists in receiving incoming steel, bolts, treads, and other miscellaneous material. Supplies workers with materials as needed. Maintains forklifts as needed. The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Perform non-essential duties as needed.

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent preferred. Ability to maintain equipment.

Forklift Operator Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less, bend, stoop, lift, and carry frequently. Excessive amount of pushing pulling from the waist. Exposed to temperature fluctuations and loud noises. Requires a considerable amount of overtime including working weekends. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
