Production Worker & Forklift Operators

$21hr - $22hr in St.

Paul, MN area

Pay will increase to $28hr+ when hired to the union

Aerotek currently has 20+ position for Production and Forklift Operator in St. Paul, MN area, minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or production. Our clients provide weekly paychecks, career growth, and a great work culture.

Details:

• In this position, you will be working as a Forklift Operator/Production Worker.
• Duties will include loading and unloading trucks, staging products for shipment, moving materials using a sit-down forklift, labeling, and filling of totes with various liquids.
• This plant manufactures and distributes chemicals that are used for industrial products, food manufacturing and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Work Environment:

• It is a dirty environment, but clean for the work that they do. A lot of opportunity for growth within the organizations.
• This is a chemical environment, it typically will smell of ammonia or Chlorine.

Shift and Pay:

• 1st shift 7 am to 3:30 pm (OT offered)
• $21hr - $28hr

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 plus year of forklift or warehouse experience OR 1 plus year of experience working in a production environment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be able to follow instructions, take orders
• Must be safety oriented

• This is in the "food building." At Conversion, most contractors are receiving anywhere between a $6-$8 dollar an hour raise putting them at 27.12-29.12 an hr. when converted.
• The plant does yearly raises across the board. These starting scales when converted are essentially the "starting" pay for a union role.
