: Forklift Operator

Primary Job Responsibilities

Operating a Forklift and/or pallet jack to load and unload trucks, organizing materials in designated areas and general material handling responsibilities. This includes performing a pre-check of all equipment and reporting any issues with management ASAP. Ensuring that materials are organized and safely stored. Giving extra attention to rotating products based on expiration dates. Pulling and staging products based on daily orders. Inventory responsibilities (ex. counting materials, rearranging storage areas, etc.) Monitoring product quality, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues. Operating various pieces of equipment (Forklift, Palletizer, Handtruck, Pallet Wrapper, Electric Pallet Jack, etc.). Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset and assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience, preferred Previous certification in forklift operation, preferred Comfortable speaking Spanish, preferred

Working Conditions

Loud, busy fast-paced manufacturing/Warehouse environment The job requires you to be on your feet for up to 8 hours The environment contains airborne oil and seasoning particles
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
