Forklift Logistics Associate
Location: Northbrook, IL
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
A day in the life
Your shift kicks off with a quick equipment check before you climb into a sit-down or stand-up lift. You'll navigate the warehouse to stage pallets, load and unload trucks, and use an RF scanner to pinpoint items and record every movement. Between moves, you'll verify counts and measurements with basic math (and calipers when needed), assist with shipping and receiving, and update inventory in the computer system. Throughout the day, you'll regularly lift up to 50 lbs and keep safety top of mind.
About the role

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Use RF scanners to locate, move, and track inventory transactions
• Perform accurate loading, unloading, and staging
• Verify counts and measurements using basic math
• Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks
• Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
• Enter data and maintain inventory records using computers

What you bring

• Hands-on experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts (required)
• Comfort with RF scanners and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and solid basic math skills
• Familiarity with calipers is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, team-oriented, and effective in a fast-paced setting
