Job Description

V-Bar Equipment Company is a growing heavy equipment, material handling and light dirt equipment dealership offering sales, service, parts, repair and rental with locations in Abilene, Dallas and Lubbock. We're looking for someone who's eager and driven to fill our sales role and help grow and support the Lubbock market.

This is an opportunity to join a family owned company that is built on customer service and maintaining relationships. This position has a yearly base salary, along with a negotiable commission compensation structure. This position isn't a stand alone sales role, you will be expected to help support the Lubbock and other locations when needed to help V-Bar grow and keep customers satisfied.

V-Bar focuses on being "The solutions people" in the equipment industry and we aim to provide solutions with our equipment. The Equipment Sales Rep will be responsible for obtaining and building relationships with customers and meeting their equipment needs, while also offering our additional services. This position requires a self-motivated, energetic, detail-minded individual with good analytical skills.

Basic Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree (Preferred, not required) Excellent communication and presentation skills Prior sales experience - Heavy Equipment / Material handling (Required) Must be able to work effectively under a sales commission structure Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with customers

Responsibilities:



Prospect for and cultivate new accounts: Find new customers through cold outreach, cold calling, and other marketing efforts. Maintain product knowledge: Stay current on the features, benefits, and applications of all equipment the company sells. Understand financing options: Be knowledgeable about financing to help customers secure the purchase of new and used equipment Maintain and grow existing accounts: Build strong relationships with current clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. Sell equipment: Present product benefits, negotiate pricing and financing, and close sales to meet quotas. Manage territories: Plan and execute sales calls, which often involve travel to customer sites to understand their needs and opportunities. Provide post-sales support: Assist with product demonstrations, installation arrangements, and problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits:



Includes base salary, commissions, 401(k) match, and medical and dental insurance. Employees receive paid time off including vacation, sick days and holidays. Commissions are uncapped
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
