We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator III/ Inventory support to join our team! Based at our facility, this role is vital in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and supporting our commitment to quality service.
Job Summary:
Responsible for using a forklift, electric pallet jack, hand jack, or similar equipment to move material within the assigned area(s). The movement of raw products, dry goods, or finished goods may be assigned as needed. This position is responsible for following proper procedures for product rotation and flows through the assigned area(s). Responsible for all documents and procedures required for this function. Supports warehouse organization and inventory accuracy by helping maintain clean, verified storage locations across frozen and dry areas. Assists with product verification and location checks to ensure proper rotation, accurate lot/label information, and correct placement during daily warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Is expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions based on the business assignment (detailed):
Responsible party in supporting the food safety culture of the company.
Operate a High lift and/or Reach Forklift to pick orders and stage for shipment.
Assist with routine inventory activities including cycle counts, aisle audits, location verification, and full-warehouse inventory projects as assigned.
Verify pallet identity before movement (product code, lot number, quantity, and condition) to ensure accuracy within storage locations.
Identify and report discrepancies such as variances, incorrect lots, label issues, or missing product.
Support location consolidation, re-slotting, and warehouse organization projects to optimize space and improve product flow, especially in frozen storage areas.
Complete simple documentation tied to pallet verifications or inventory findings when required to support accurate WMS records.
Help maintain "clean rows" and organized aisles by relocating product to appropriate locations in coordination with inventory or warehouse leadership.
Assists in unloading and loading trucks, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
Compliance with SOP's, GMPs, Housekeeping, Safety, and all other Company Policies.
Support inspections with Leads to verify quality, safety, and food safety.
Responsible for actively supporting the other members of the employee's work team including assisting with cross-training, new-hire/buddy assignments, and process support during breaks, meal periods, and other staff coverage as needed.

Required Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:
Extensive and demonstrable forklift experience required.
Ability to assist with routine cycle counts and location checks as part of general warehouse duties.
Comfortable verifying pallet information (product code, lot number, quantity) during daily movement and count activities.
Basic understanding of how inventory accuracy supports warehouse flow and product rotation.
Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies discovered during counts or verification tasks.
Experience supporting inventory-related tasks such as aisle audits, location validation, or consolidation projects is preferred.
Strong attention to detail when reconciling what is physically in a location versus what is listed on documentation.
Able to follow standardized processes for count sheets, product verification, or location confirmation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and coworkers.
Must be able to understand and follow oral and/or written instructions in English and/or Spanish.
Must be able to work 6 or more consecutive days including overtime, any shift, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships is a plus.
Must have 1-3 years of experience on standup or sit-down forklift.
Previous High Reach and Stand-up Forklift experience (desired).
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne
particles, outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
