Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Foreman to oversee specific projects and daily tasks on our job sites. This is a working foreman role where you will actively contribute to the hands-on work while leading your crew. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Ideal candidates are strong leaders who communicate effectively, manage teams well, and have a genuine desire to learn, grow, and advance with our company.

Key Responsibilities

Directly oversee and participate in daily concrete operations, including formwork setup, rebar installation, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and related tasks Lead and supervise a crew of concrete laborers and workers, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing hands-on guidance Help coordinate project timelines, materials, and equipment needs in collaboration with project managers and superintendents Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide accurate layout and execution Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate effectively with crew members, clients, subcontractors, and upper management to resolve issues and keep projects on track Perform quality checks throughout the day and address any defects or issues promptly Assist with equipment operation (e.g., skid steers, concrete tools) and use tablets/digital tools for layout, measurements, or project tracking when needed
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman, Lead, or senior concrete worker (minimum 3-5+ years in concrete construction preferred) Strong hands-on experience with concrete flatwork, foundations, curbs, sidewalks, slabs, or similar projects Excellent communication skills -- able to clearly instruct teams, provide feedback, and report progress Solid management and leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing crew members Willingness to get hands dirty and actively work alongside the team in a hands-on environment A strong work ethic and genuine desire to learn more, take on increasing responsibility, and grow long-term with the company Ability to read blueprints, plans, and perform accurate measurements/layout
Preferred Skills

Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, concrete pumps) Familiarity with digital tools, tablets, or software for job site layout, GPS, or project management OSHA safety training/certification or equivalent
