Job Description
V&S Galvanizing has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 15 galvanizing plants in the U.S. and Europe, featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide.
We are currently searching for an outstanding individual for our Foreman position at our Detroit, MI facility.
Responsibilities:
Open and close production areas Prioritize work orders Approves hours worked for all employees within their shift Maintain a safe workplace Coordinate manpower between work stations Supervise stations for quality and accuracy Responsible for reporting injuries
Requirements:
Minimum of two years relevant experience Knowledge of the steel industry Knowledge of protective coating Willingness to learn our industry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bi-Lingual: Spanish (Preferred) Required to work second shift hours.
