Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreign Medical Graduate to join our healthcare team as a medical assistant. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care and support within various medical specialties, including Nephrology, Immunology, Neurology . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist in patient assessments and evaluations, ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories. Support physicians in clinical procedures and treatments, including ventilating patients as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for maintaining patient records and managing data. Ensure compliance with ICD-9 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation. Provide compassionate care to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical practices and advancements.

Experience

A degree from an accredited medical school outside of the United States is required. Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with specialties such as Nephrology, Immunology, Neurology, Psychiatry, or ICU is advantageous. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Epic is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
