Job Description
Miami Job Corps is seeking a dependable crew member to join our Food Services Department. As a Food Service Worker, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer services to our students.
- Prepare delicious and nutritious meals that energizes our students and staff.
- Clear, clean, and sanitize kitchen, cafeteria area and food storage areas.
- Support the cook where needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Experience in a food services operation desired.
- Ability to obtain local Food Handling/Health Certification required.
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
