• The schedule for this position could potentially be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with weekends. It is a part-time position
• Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will prepare, season and coos food for consumption in the Clayton Country Market.
• You will report to the Clayton Country Market GM

Primary Tasks:

• You will provide food service that meets company standards for ingredient quantity, quality, safety and consistency.

• You will maintain knowledge of all product offerings, ensuring fast and friendly service and delicious food.

• You will prepare food items per menu and recipes mixing and measuring ingredients according to recipe, using variety of ingredients and kitchen tools, utensils and equipment

• You will adjust the thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters and steam kettles

• You will clean and sanitize your work area and food preparation equipment; wash and dry dishes and other cooking utensils used in preparing food

• You will store food in designated areas, utilize knowledge of time and temperature requirements and food spoilage; and document temperature readings

• You will read food orders or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guests

• You will serve meals to guests

• You will comply with food and store safety programs and behaviors to minimize employee and guest injury and illness including hand washing, sanitation, food handling/storage and time and temperature controls.

• You will receive products from venders following correct procedures, accurately documenting bad merchandise/write-offs per policy.

Required Education, Skills and Experience: MINIMUM

• High School Diploma or GED or a student actively pursuing a HS diploma
• Acquire and maintain Food Handler\xe2\x80\x99s certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on feet 6 hours per shift
• No experience
