The Food Service Supervisor provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in food operations or services at JHACH. Provides support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Understands, follows, and helps train on all policies and procedures to generate efficiency of process and results.
Participates in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees to keep accidents to a minimum.
Monitors employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity for efficiency and quality of service.
Oversees the day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management to ensure employees are meeting the standards of the department.
Provides orientation and training of employees to ensure a consistent standard is delivered across the department.
Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution to continually improve the patient experience.
Promotes in the development of the food service team through team building and communication.
Complies with all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) policies and procedures to provide food safety for all customers and patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred.
3 years of food service experience.
Working knowledge of basic computer software (Microsoft suite) as well as point of sale (POS) or Patient Service software.
Ability to supervise a team of Food Service employees.
Salary Range:
Minimum 17.70/hour - Maximum 28.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
