Momentum at South Bay is looking to hire a Per diem Food Service Supervisor.
Weekend availability is a must
Duties include:
Plan, assign and inspect the work of Food Service Staff.
Schedule and assign staff, prepare department payroll for data entry if required.
Manage and maintain departmental budgets.
Supervise the storage & care of food and supplies.
Oversee the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment.
Inspects Residents' trays for consistency with a specified menu.
Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.
Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure Residents' requests and needs are being met.
Requirements:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility.
ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep.
Solid leadership and supervisory skills.
Prior management experience
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work as a team member.
Job Type: Per diem
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
