We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Duties
Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train, mentor, and develop staff in food preparation techniques, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
Manage inventory control processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met.
Implement training programs for new hires focusing on food handling, safety protocols, and service excellence.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimize department efficiency.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership practices.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or product quality promptly.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends to enhance menu offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service, fast food, or casual dining environments.
Strong culinary skills with experience in cooking, food preparation, and fine dining settings preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
Excellent cash handling skills with a keen eye for detail in financial transactions.
Background in inventory control and budget management within the food industry.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management, training & development, and shift management.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for safe food handling.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is highly desirable.
