Responsibilities
Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Comply with company policies, rules, regulations, schedules, and goals.
Prepare food according to planned menus and tested, uniformed recipes
Ensure finished products meet standards of quality, flavor, and appearance
Participate in the production of food orders (retail & wholesale)
Assist in maintaining inventories of cooking and food supplies
Check in restaurant shipments upon delivery and verify accuracy of receipts
Provide rewarding experiences for customers
Requirements
Knowledge in operation of all kitchen equipment
Maintains high personal hygiene as the basis for sanitation in the kitchen.
Ability to learn existing kitchen and food production processes
Adaptable to orientate and excel with new practices
Work positively and professionally with others
Communicate regularly with management regarding the performance of kitchen, food and service conditions
Capable of constant standing and frequent walking, lifting up to 50lbs and short periods in hot, humid, cold environments
