We are hiring a

Food Service Repair Technician

to install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment at restaurants, hospitals, and other food service facilities. The work includes hands-on technical service, customer communication, and emergency on-call availability. You will work with a variety of equipment in fast-paced environments and help keep essential operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair food service equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, stoves, griddles, and refrigeration units Disassemble and replace faulty components like motors, thermostats, switches, and compressors Test and calibrate systems to ensure proper performance Identify part numbers and coordinate repairs using hand and power tools Perform regular maintenance to meet safety and efficiency standards Communicate with clients regarding repair needs, options, and pricing Maintain accurate documentation of work using field service software Follow food safety and electrical safety procedures Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent service requests

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Comfortable working in hot environments and tight spaces Able to lift and move heavy equipment CFESA certification or similar credentials are a plus Must live within 25 miles of our office Willingness to be part of the emergency on-call rotation
