Food Service Clerk 19.5 hours per week 5 days per week Hours to be determined Salary based on the AFSCME Clerical salary scale Position administers clerical operations for the Food Service Department, including product orders, record keeping government compliance, and generalized accounting functions. Prepares bills for payment, prepares the monthly warrant, and daily reconciliations.
Receives, reviews, and confirms product receipts against vendor invoices.
Receives food and supply order from the schools
Reviews and complies orders and submits either by phone, fax or scan to vendors
Maintains equipment log and communicates with vendors for equipment maintenance.
Maintains files, answers the phone, answer questions and take complete messages
Call student parents regarding outstanding balances, including billing management and refunds
Reconciles cash from adult meals, works with City Hall and sales taxes, direct deposits and other financial needs.
Record maintenance per school for monthly SFA submissions
Assist the Food Service and Assistant Food Service Director as required
Other duties as assigned
