Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any concerns efficiently Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize table turnover Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and tips

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food industry operations including food preparation, serving techniques, and guest relations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with host/host duties or bussing enhances your ability to support overall restaurant operations
