Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of service areas and adhere to sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling transactions Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
