What you'll do

Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring a seamless ordering process. Provide detailed menu descriptions to guests, highlighting specials and upselling items to enhance their dining experience. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and address any guest concerns or special requests. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.

Basic qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Preferred qualifications

Fine dining experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to deliver top-notch service in an upscale environment. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management enhances the guest experience. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items better. Experience as a host/host can provide valuable insights into guest flow and service dynamics.
