. This position is responsible for managing food brokers, coordinating all sales objectives and programs; and increasing sales via food brokers to customers and accounts.
A bachelor's degree,, over 3 years in food service sales (Hotel, Restaurants, Universities, etc.) /Domestic food retail experience including Broker Management with Food Broker,
clean driving record and driver's license, a history of meeting sales goals, and the ability to travel domestically for business trips (25-40%) is required. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person position, with excellent benefits and a 401k.
They will provide the company car/phone/laptop.

Food Sales Manager Duties:
-Discuss with Supervisor all sales targets for specific area(s)
-Be informed of company directives and any changes made to those directives while insuring compliance to them as they occur
-Contact and call on brokers, distributors, customers, and clients frequently in order to establish a relationship and increase sales
- Develop new customers while maintaining and expanding current customer list- Seek out and create a plan for discovering new opportunities to sell products
-Create approach and follow through for the education of broker personnel on our products and policies
- Coordinate programs and promotions with food broker(s).
- Attend food shows for retail, food service and industrial products.
- Control credit and collections of major customers.
- Process, coordinate and initiate all paperwork that is related to the operation of the branch.
-Train and manage food brokers
-Travel 25-40% domestically
Food Sales Manager Skills:
-Must have a bachelors degree in a related field
-Must have 3-5 years in food service sales (Hotel, Restaurants, Universities) /Domestic food retail stores experience
-Must have a valid drivers license and clear driving record
-Must be able to go on business trips domestically (25-40%)
-Must have a history of meeting successful sales goals
